Caching Serialized Recordsets

Hello everybody, it has been a long time since we have published fresh content.

Now, we are back with a great article to demonstrate caching whole recordset objects by serialization. It is possible to store a recordset object directly in an application variable but it is not a good practice, because of the thread blocking issues that would degrade your server performance. This is why we have chosen to cache the serialized representation of the recordset.

In the article, we build a Cache Engine class and demonstrate how to use it in our ASP site.
